Scalp micropigmentation is a specialized procedure that demands far more than learning how to operate a machine.
At Enhanced Pigment Academy, our training emphasizes the fundamentals that determine the quality of a result: skin assessment, pigment behaviour, needle control, depth, hairline design, and progressive density development.
Our intensive two-day program combines technical education with supervised, hands-on application on a live model.
With a maximum of four students per class, instruction remains personal, focused, and structured around developing sound technical foundations.
We don’t simply teach you how to perform SMP. We teach you to understand the decisions behind every application.

Our small-group training environment allows students to work directly with their instructor, develop confidence through practical application, and receive six months of continued mentorship following graduation.

With a reputation that extends beyond Canada, James works with clients who travel internationally seeking his expertise, particularly in complex cases involving failed hair transplants, scarring, corrective procedures, and challenging skin conditions.
His philosophy is simple: exceptional SMP is not about placing pigment into skin. It is about understanding skin, mastering precision, respecting the healing process, and knowing when restraint produces a better result.
As a member of respected industry professional teams, including FYT SMP’s Official Pro Team and Ghost Pigment Pro Team, James has established himself through the quality, consistency, and transparency of his work.
